INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

(Vendor Pre-Qualification/Registration)                                    

Reference is made to our expression of interest announced on Reporter Newspaper dated Feb 6, 2022, the deadline of EOI is extended to March 15, /2022. Re-submission is not needed.

Farm Africa is an international NGO founded in 1985, with a vision to ensure a prosperous rural Africa. It is a specialist development NGO working with smallholder farmers and forest communities, local governments and the private sector in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The organization is an expert in the fields of agronomy, livestock, natural resources management and market engagement. With community engagement underpinning our approach, we design and implement sustainable solutions to rural poverty based on evidence and best practices.

Farm Africa now wants to update its supplier database on the below-listed categories. Therefore with this request for Expression of Interest (EOI) all eligible & competitive suppliers are invited to submit their EOI for the supply of goods and services listed below: Interested Suppliers and Service providers shall collect the bid document requesting from the email getachewb@farmafrica.org or hardcopy from Farm Africa office indicated address below.

Requirements (minimum criteria):

  1. All the legal documents (renewed Trade License, Registration, TIN, VAT/TOT certificates)
  2. Submit filled Vendor Registration form that is collected from Farm Africa
  3. Submit technical documents to demonstrate their area of competence
  4. Provide company profile that includes HR, Financial, facility information
  5. Any other relevant document

Interested suppliers/service providers should submit their Technical proposals electronically delivered to the email ethprocurement@farmafrica.org or in hardcopy at Farm Africa Ethiopia office on or before 15th March 2022, 4:00 PM. Late bids will be rejected.

EOI proposals will be opened by Farm Africa Procurement Committee, site visit may be conducted by the committee in the process of technical evaluation as required.

Qualified Venders will be considered based on their responsiveness to the technical requirements and finally those qualified venders will be registered in the Farm Africa PQVL.

Those prequalified venders will be invited for procurement of goods and services Farm Africa requires in the future based on the respective areas of competence applied.

Farm Africa Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bids at any time without assigning any reason or reasons whatsoever.
