Hohete Tibeb S. Co. (Ethio Parents’ Schools) has been in educational business for over Twenty five years and has a staff size of more than 500 working for different branch schools in Addis Ababa and Hawassa and the head office. It is a company engaged and operating in KG to Grade 12 education alongside preparation and distribution of reference books.

Hohete Tibeb Share Company would like to invite professional, competent and reliable consultants to conduct salary scheme and other benefit packages for all employees of the company.

Scope of the work

The consultant is expected to carry out the following tasks:

  1. Carrying out a survey of current salary and benefits packages of the staff at Hohete Tibeb S. Co.
  2. Carrying out a survey of service and salary schemes of organizations listed in section III above.
  3. Developing a salary and service scheme appropriate to Hohete Tibeb S. Co in the light of its budget and its need that attracts and helps to retain professional staff.
  4. Developing a differentiated benefits package for the different work units within the company based on the local practices.
  5. Developing service scheme that indicates salary scales for each job category to enable decision on promotion and increment to be transparent.


  1. Professional Experience
  • A proven track record of experience in the area of human resources management including work on compensation and benefits for private firms.
  • Experience in dealing with salary surveys for profit making organizations in Ethiopia
  • Knowledge of the labor market in the country.
  • Familiarity with the financial and human resources structures of private educational companies working in the education sector.
  1. Technical Capacity for the Consultant /Team Members

The professional staff assigned to conduct the survey should have:

  • Professional qualifications in human resources management including postgraduate or an advanced university degree in any related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in conducting salary surveys.
  • Excellent knowledge of the education sector and good communication skills.
  • Ability to render consulting services in the most professional, effective and efficient manner.
  • Excellent and effective report writing skill.
  • High level of time management and commitment to meet deadline.
  1. Submission of Offers

The offer should include the following:

  1. A work and professional competency license from a recognized body
  2. A technical proposal including work plans to finalize the work.
  3. A company profile meeting the minimum requirement or the CVs of staff that will be involved in the survey.
  4. Reference contacts of at least 3 organizations that employed you for similar type of services
  5. A financial proposal indicating the total cost of the survey fee.

Interested individuals/ firms that meet the indicated requirements can submit their proposal within 07 working days from the date of this announcement in person to Human Resource Administration Manager Office No. 101 Addis Ababa around Gerji area in front of Unity University Main Campus. Moreover, applicants can collect the Term of Reference (TOR) from HR administration office ahead of time.
