Right To Play (RTP) is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) with a mission of using sport and play to educate, protect, and empower children and youth in disadvantaged communities to overcome the effects of poverty, conflict, and disease. Right To Play works in more than 20 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.

RTP invites all interested and eligible contractors to bid for the construction of the following infrastructures listed below planned at beneficiary schools located in Ada’a Wereda near Bishoftu, Oromia.

Guidelines

1. Bidders should have

• • Construction License GC/BC-8 and above valid for 2014 E.C,
  • Renewed construction and trade license for the year 2014 E.C
  • VAT Registration Certificate and Tin Number.
  • TAX clearance to demonstrate eligibility to participate in any bid in 2014 C

2. To collect bidding documents, Bidders are required to compile a scanned PDF of originals of the above-mentioned legal documents and send an email to

3. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 15,000.00 in the form of CPO issued to Right To Play. The Bid security must be submitted in a separate envelope along with Original Technical Proposal.
4. Technical and Financial proposals should be submitted both having Originals and Copies, following the procedure described in the bidding document, in a waxed sealed mother envelope to Right To Play’s Office no later than May 3^rd,2022 at 2:30 PM.

5. The Bid will be closed at 2:30 PM on May 3^rd,2022, and will be opened at 3:00 PM on May 3^rd,2022 in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives at Right To Play’s Country Office, Addis Ababa.
6. Late bids will be automatically rejected.
7. All envelopes should be waxed, sealed, and stamped and should be clearly marked by the Lot for which a contractor is bidding.
8. RTP will award only one Lot for One Contractor. Therefore, Bidders are advised to submit their proposal only for a single Lot.
9. All constructions are expected to be completed within two months from the date of site handover. Therefore, RTP advises bidders to consider this urgency before participating. RTP may not extend the contract period unless unforeseen force majeure occurs.
10. RTP strongly advises bidders to refer to the GPS coordinates provided. Some schools might not be accessible during rainy seasons.

12. Bidding documents will be shared with interested Bidders through email only. But bidders are expected to return their technical and financial proposals in hardcopies.
13. Right To Play- Ethiopia reserves the right to reject the whole or part of the bid without giving any justifications.
