Catholic Relief Services – United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (CRS-USCCB) is a nonprofit non-governmental international relief and development organization working with international and local partners and serving people on the base of need, not creed, race or nationality in more than 100 countries in five continents.

From 2017 to 2021 CRS Ethiopia implemented microfinance activities through the Development Food Security Activity (DFSA) and Livelihood Resilience in Oromia (LRO) projects funded by USAID Food for Peace (FFP) and Feed the Future (FtF) with the objective of enhancing sustainable access to financial services for vulnerable productive safety net program (PSNP) participants. DFSA and LRO were operating from 2017 to 2021 in East Hararghe, East Showa, Arsi, West Arsi zones of Oromia region and Diredawa Administrative Council. Microfinance activities implemented include promotion of Savings and Internal lending Communities (SILC) methodology through Private Service Providers (PSP) model, linking SILC members with FSPs (Financial Service Providers) to provide loans and linking PSPs with agro-dealers to increase access to agricultural inputs.

In relation with this, CRS/Ethiopia program would like to invite consultant firm to collect quantitative and qualitative data on key performance indicators that enable to assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact of the project with a strong focus on assessing the results at the outcome and project goal levels. The consultant is also expected to provide a comprehensive analysis of the project’s achievements, lessons learned, and recommendations for future actions.

Companies who are interested to participate in this tender should have renewed Business license for the sector.

The complete bid documents are available at CRS/Ethiopia office located at Swaziland St. Gulele Sub-city, Enkulal Fabrica, P.O. Box 6592, Addis Ababa during office hours Monday to Friday from May 16 – 30, 2022.

Duly completed bids must be in a sealed envelope addressed to CRS/Ethiopia clearly marked by “Bidders Name, Address, Legal Stamps, Signatures and Tender No.”  Bidders should submit their technical and financial documents in two different sealed envelopes to the address mentioned above shall put into the bid box provided for the purpose only at CRS Ethiopia Addis Ababa Office.

The sealed bid document shall be submitted to the CRS Ethiopia address mentioned above into the bid box provided for the purpose on or before May 30, 2022 at 3:00 PM.  Bids arrived after this date and time will not be considered.
