Invitation to Bid for Consultancy Service for Asset Valuation

(Re-tender)

Yetebaberut Beherawi Petroleum S.C. (YBP) Invites interested, qualified and competent consulting firms/companies/ for valuation of the company’s assets.

Consultants are expected to perform the following activities:

1. 1. The consultant conducts the valuation work in a manner that meets the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and adopting suitable valuation method/approach.
2. 2. The consultants shall identify the resource requirements for the valuation work as well as the expected/anticipated challenges during the valuation process and present same to the management team for proactive measures prior tothe start of the work.

3. 3. The consulting firm/company shall undertake to perform the asset valuation service with the highest professional standards, ethical competence, integrity and the valuation is expected to fulfill International Valuation Standard (IVS).
4. 4. Certificate of professional competence issued by a recognized body having a legal mandate to give such certification;

Requirement to be fulfilled by the prospective bidder:

1. 1. Certificate of professional competency issued by legally authorized bod
2. 2. Trade license renewed for the year 2014
3. 3. Tax payers’ registration certificate and VAT registration certificate.

Submission of proposals

Interested firm/companies who wish to participate can:

1. a) Collect the bid document from Yetebaberut Beherawi Petroleum S. Head Office upon payment of a non-refundable birr 500 (five hundred birr).
2. b) Bids should be submitted along with bid bond amounting to 2% of the bid amount issued in favor of Yetebaberut Beherawi Petroleum C. in the form of CPO or bank guarantee.

Bidders should place their technical and financial proposals in sealed envelope and put it in the tender box reserved for this purpose on or before May 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Proposals (both) should be clearly labeled “TENDER FOR ASSET VALUATION”.

YBP is not obliged to accept any or all proposals and resumes the right to discontinue the tender process at any point before the award of the contract or reserves the right to accept or reject any part of the entire bid.
