Description

CST Ethiopia represents the overseas development and humanitarian Catholic agencies of England and Wales/CAFOD, Scotland/SCIAF, and Ireland/Trocaire, respectively in Ethiopia. The three agencies has over 40 years’ of experience in international development and humanitarian response and are each members of worldwide networks such as Caritas Internationalis and CIDSE. Currently the three agencies jointly own a single legal entity in Ethiopia under CST Ethiopia and operate a single, integrated country programme in Ethiopia.

CST Ethiopia is currently implementing a humanitarian response in Tigray after securing funding from the European Commission (ICSP & EUTF); Director General-for European Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG-ECHO) and Irish Embassy.

CST Ethiopia would like to invite producers, importers and wholesalers to participate supplying the following items.

Interested bidders can bid for all or some of the slots as appropriate. A bid documents can be collected  from CST Office

Requirement

  1. Bidders must attach Renewed Business licensee, Suppliers Registration Certificate for the items they bid, Tax Identification Certificate (TIN), VAT registration,
  2. Evidence for good performance from previous delivery of service/items
  3. Bidders must submit performance bond for each slot as shown in the above table in the name of CST Ethiopia which should be valid for 90 days.

All Interested bidders should collect the bid document from the date of the announcement and they have to return the sealed, stamped and Waxed bid documents by latest May 30 /2022 up to 12:00 a.m (lunch time)  to the  CST Office located at

Bids shall be opened at 2:00 PM in the afternoon as  May 30th  2022 in the presence of bidders or duly authorized representatives who wish to attend

CST Ethiopia has the right to reject/cancel the bid partially or fully as required.

CST Ethiopia is committed to Safeguarding people within our programmes from Exploitation and Abuse and has specific policies on this commitment (including a Global Code of Conduct) which outlines the expected behaviour and the responsibility of all staff, consultants and other organisational representatives. Winners of the bid are required to sign all safeguarding children, conflict of interest and other code of behaviour according to CST Ethiopia procurement policy.
