Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit Service (AALRTS) would like to invite companies that are regularly engaged in the business of manufacturing,installing, and  servicing elevators;interested and qualified bidders for the procurement of Elevator, Escalator Inspection and Maintenance   with the open National competitive tendering procedures.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national competitive tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and ERC procurement Directives and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from ERC, AALRTS and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 7 (a) from January 23, 2023 to February 3, 2023 at 8:30am to 5:30pm Working day.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address given below at 7(a) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 400 Birr. The method of payment will be in cash. from January 23, 2023 to February 8,2023 at 8:30am to 5:30pm Working day.

.Bid must be delivered to the Address below at 5(a) on or before 3:00 pm on February 8, 2023. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security for 50,000.00 ETB, in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank guarantee from recognized Bank. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 5 (b) at 3: 30 pm on February 8, 2023.

(b)Bid must be delivered to, and will be opened at  Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit Service, Kality Depot, office Building, Ground Floor, Meeting Room G06.

6. AALRTS reserves the right to reject any or all bids and any items on the bid.
