                        Request for Proposal (RFP) – National Competitive Bidding

1. Berhan Bank S.C intends to outlay its own funds to payments under the contract for which this Request for Proposal is issued.
2. Berhan Bank subsequently invites qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the provision of design development resident supervision and author control services for its Building Project at Wolayita Sodo.
3. The plot is situated along the main asphalt traffic route leading to Arba Minch town, having a moderate sloppy terrain with an area of 4000m² surrounded by roads from three sides. Bidders are expected to integrate the plot use and building proposed to be in harmony with the existing urban fabric functionally. The site offers a commanding location and an opportunity to realize Berhan Bank’s iconic presence in an appropriate architectural expression.
4. The bid is open to all eligible Architectural firms Grade 1(Grade One for Architectural Design Consultancy Service) with a renewed registration certificate (CA or CAE) issued by the Addis Ababa Construction Industry Development & Regulatory Authority or equivalent Regional Bureaus. The successful bidder shall comply with the license category requirement imposed by the Building Regulation Official.
5. A firm will be selected under a single-stage bid. Technical proposal shall be evaluated in accordance with Schematic Drawing (70%) and Statement of Competency (30%).
6. Bid registration shall be to the address below, on or before 20 February 2023 upon submission of copies of eligibility documents, a deposit slip of payment of a non-refundable registration fee of Birr 1,000.00 at any Berhan Bank branch shall be presented at the registration desk during working hours.

7. A complete set of bidding document will be emailed simultaneously to all registered bidders on 21 February 2023.
8. Issuance of this RFP constitutes an offer of contract to Berhan Bank, by depositing the CPO and registering for the bid, bidders are confirming acceptance of the offer, in the event of being declared winner of the bid.
9. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and shall be delivered to the address below, on or before 14:00 hours, (2:00 PM), on 24 March 2023 Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidders’ representatives who chose to attend at the address below at 14:30 hours, (2:30 PM), on 24 March 2023. No requests for deadline extensions, whatsoever, will be entertained.
