CAMARA EDUCATION LIMITED- ETHIOPIA is an Irish based charity with the objective to reduce poverty
through the enhancement of the quality of education delivery via the medium of ICT equipment, ongoing training of teachers, educational materials and support. Camara Education Ethiopia has a three-year agreement with the Ministry of Education (Ethiopia) to provide 21,000 computers to around 840 schools and train a minimum of 5,040 teachers and impact 535,540 learners. The cooperation agreement and the project agreement was signed on the 2nd of April 2019 for three years with a further year extension until April 2023
CAMARA EDUCATION ETHIOPIA invites all auditors to submit their technical and financial proposals for the preparation of its yearly audited financial statements and related information for the year ending 2022 with the fiscal year ending December 31. The audited financial statement must be prepared in accordance with GAAP. It must also include an expression of an opinion by the auditor on the fairness of the financial statements.
Camara requires the following services:
- Yearly financial audit, including
- Statement of financial position
- Statement of activities (revenue, support, and expenses) and changes in net assets.
- Statement of cash flows
- Management letter and related reports as per the charities and Societies agency directives.
- Written review of Camara’s accounting system and financial procedures and evaluation of its internal controls with recommendations, if any.
All audit proposals must include:
a) Evidence of the firm’s qualifications to provide the above services;
b) Background and experience in auditing, particularly of nonprofits;
c) The size and organizational structure of the auditor’s firm;
d) Names and qualifications of the staff members to be assigned for the audits;
e) Statement of the firm’s understanding of work to be performed, including tax and Non-audit services;
f) A detailed work plan, including timelines and tasks to be carried out by auditors and Camara staff;
g) The proposed fee structure for these services, with projected costs for audits covering With a maximum fee to be charged.
