Dashen Brewery S.C. interested bidders to participate for the service of distribution

Invitation to Tender

Dashen Brewery S.C. was established by TIRET, an endowment organization. It has started operation since June 2000 G.C. with Gondar plant. After 2012 TIRET has sold its 50% share to Duet Vasari Beverage Africa Limited, an overseas company. Now Dashen has two plants in Gondar and Debre Birhan. In order to manage the operation of both breweries it has moved its head office from Gondar to Addis Ababa. All of the functional heads are operating at head office and plants are mainly providing production and sales operations. In the two plants we produce bottled beer, draft beer and non- alcoholic malt drink to distribute all over the country. We have divided the country in to seven regions and delegated regional sales managers, and sales representatives to reach our consumers and customers in different market segments. We are distributing our products through key distributors assigned on each market segments. The key Distributors are taking products from us and sales to customers on the specified areas designated to them as per the contract.

Dashen has different manuals, policies and procedures to facilitate operational activities and processes. Some of them are related to quality, health, safety, environmental management systems, some are solely for operation. We have also established a new syspro based ERP system since 2019. Due to the enforcement of IFRS system in the country, we want to update our operational manuals, policies and procedures. In order to update them we require professional support from those who are capable and interested in providing the service. We have prepared RFQ to brief service providers in order to submit their proposals accordingly.

Thus, we are releasing this tender to invite capable and interested bidders to participate for the service after buying the bid document with a value of non-returnable ETB 300. Those of you who are legible and capable are kindly requested to buy and participate in the tender.
