Call for Bid- Proposal Submission

EngendrHealth  Ethiopia  is  planning  to  implement  REACH  project  to  expand  and  access community health services is an integrated Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights, Menstrual Hygiene Management, and Water Sanitation & Hygiene project designed to be implemented in Jimma and Borena zones, Oromia Region, Ethiopia. In order to address Limited knowledge of and supportive attitudes/practice towards SRHR, WASH, and MHM at both the individual and community levels are barriers and improve service seeking behavior of target communities the project will implement an integrated demand creation interventions at the individual level as well as at the community level.

Interested applicants can collect TOR from EngenderHealth Country office and submit proposal for the call.

The following is a summary of the parameters and key steps during the process.  Applicants are advised to collect the ToR, carefully review, and comprehensively respond to and integrate the relevant portions of the ToR in their proposal submissions. Proposals not meeting the ToR requirements will not be considered.

The proposal should contain: (a) a technical proposal and (b) cost proposal,

Technical Proposal

The technical proposal should include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Detailed plans and methods to fulfill the ToR
  • Details of organizational capacity to undertake work and previous relevant work, including at least 3 recent references with contact information
  • Names and backgrounds of key personnel responsible for the project (including CVs).
  • Details of any component of the ToR that would be subcontracted to another organization;and
  • A detailed work-plan based on all key milestones put forth in the TOR.
  1. Cost proposal/budget (Original and Copy) Selection criteria
  2. a) Once a proposal is received by the due date and time, EH team will review all proposals and disqualify those that fail to meet the terms set out in the instruction EngenderHealth may reject any bid that (1) is not signed and dated by authorized employee (2) is not substantially responsive to the terms and conditions of the scope of work in terms of poor quality & clarity as specified against the TOR), (3) is incomplete, including and without limitation, does not have requested supporting documents, (4) Does not include evidence/recommendation for past satisfactorily done similar  undertaking,  (5)  misses  documentation for key  personnel  and is otherwise not generally in order. Such proposals shall be deemed inadmissible.

Interested qualified firm can collect the Term of Reference from EngenderHealth office starting from Sep 13,2022 during office working hours (Morning 8:30am – 12:30 pm and Afternoon 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm) or send request via email SGoraga@egdh.org for electronic copy and submit their  Technical  and  Financial  Proposals  in  a  separate  sealed  envelope  duly  marking  the envelopes as ‘’Technical’’ and ‘’ Financial’’ proposals.

The document must be delivered to the address below in the bid box prepared for this purpose. The deadline for submission will be September 23,2022.
