GIZ Energy Programme Ethiopia (GIZ EPE), would like to invite all interested bidders/consulting firms who are eligible to participate in this open tender, are herewith requested to submit their proposals to conduct “Feasibility study of biogas technology from wastewater treatment in Adama science and technology university.”

Tasks to be performed by the contractor includes;

The Consultant will conduct field observation at the Waste Treatment site in Adama Science and Technology University, assess the technical aspect of the treatment plant and evaluate its relevance for biogas production, output of the plant, look into the organizational aspect by holding discussion with the administration of the University to examine the readiness, ownership affordability, demand and other pertinent aspects of biogas energy. In addition to that, the Consultant will assess current energy consumption for cooking by the University.  Furthermore, the consultant will conduct technical feasibility, economic analysis, financial analysis, gender perspective of the project and environmental analysis in terms of reduction of GHG emission.

• All bids must be delivered/submitted physically to the address below at or before 4:30 PM on Monday, 10^th of May 2021.
• Bidders should submit their Technical and Financial Proposals as per the issued tender document.
• The financial offer should list the daily fees charged for this contract, as per GIZ template. The technical offer should include the approach taken by the consulting firm and showcase its previous work in the areas listed above.
• GIZ EPE Programme reserves the right to cancel the bid fully or partly.
