Call for Transportation Service Providers
On behalf of Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ)/SEQUA is implementing the Special Initiative Jobs (SI Jobs) Programme. The three-year program aims to promote economic growth through job creation in selected clusters in Ethiopia. the SI Jobs program in Ethiopia aims to improve productivity and competitiveness of local SMEs to enable them for export or as suppliers to industrial parks (IPs); improve business environment for investors in IPs and improve quality of employment, improved management capacities; and assist the Ethiopian government in the development of business relationships between Ethiopian and international companies.
GIZ/SEQUA is interested to engage the services of a transport contractor (individual/companies), who would provide transport services to staffs and consultants. This includes provision of transportation services to companies located in Addis Ababa and regional cities and provision of bus services for workshops and other events.
We are looking for the below types of vehicles
- Small vehicles with 1+4 seating capacities for 50 days
- Four Wheel drive field Vehicles (preferably Land Cruisers) for 30 days
- Buses with up to 60 seating capacities for 15 days
The vehicles should be equipped with the required safety features, maintained regularly and meet roadworthiness and safety criteria. GIZ/SEQUA needs the services for a minimum of one year period extendable upon satisfactory performance.
