1. National Bank of Ethiopia invites interested and eligible bidders for the following items:

• Preparation of IFRS based financial statements for fiscal years 2020/21 & 2021/22
• Prepare only related to IFRS 9, IAS 19, fair value estimation(IFRS 13) as well as review and comment on draft financial statements for fiscal year of 2022/23 which will prepared by internal team.

Scope

1. Prepare the financial statements of the bank within in one month in line with IFRS for the fiscal year of 2020/21 (in which date of commencement shall be within one week after the contract is signed) and 2021/22 (in which date of the commencement shall be within one week after the 2020/21 financial statements are completed by considering amended/changed/new standards
2. Prepare only IFRS 9, IAS 19, fair value estimation as well as review and comment on draft financial statements for fiscal year of 2022/23 which will prepared by internal team.
3. Knowledge and skill transfer for the IFRS counterpart team members
4. Support NBE with clarifications to auditors’ queries during audit of 2020/21, 2021/22 & 2022/23 financial statements

Deliverables

1. Produce the IFRS based financial statements of 2020/21 (within in a month whereby commencement date shall be within 1^st week after the contract is signed) and of 2021/22(within a month whereby commencement shall be within one week after the 2020/21 financial statements are completed).
2. Produce only related to IFRS 9, IAS 19, fair value estimation as well as review and comment on draft financial statements for fiscal year of 2022/23 which will prepared by internal team.
3. Produce disclosure for the standards applicable to NBE For 2020/21 & 2021/22 financial statements
4. Clarifications support provide to external auditors queries to financial statements of 2020/21, 2021/22 & 2022/23.
5. Assist the bank with sustainability of IFRS implementation
6. Provide applicable trainings & materials for counterpart team to take over
7. Prepare detail work plan for each task stated under the scope.

Duration

• The consultancy is expected to commence the project within the 1^st week after the contract is signed: and is expected to complete the project within one month each fiscal year as stated on the scope.

2. A complete set of Bidding Document can be obtained from National Bank of Ethiopia Building-2; 5th floor, Bulk Procurement and contract Administration Team upon deposit of non-refundable fee of USD 25 or 1000 in Birr in the account No.7002010800001 in Payment and settlement Service Directorate found in National Bank of Ethiopia Building-2, sub-basement floor during office hours (Monday to Friday 8:00-10:30 a.m and 01:00- 03:30 p.m).
3. Bidders shall present copy of their renewed trade/work/ license or its equivalent evidence, Commercial registration certificate, Tax Identification Number, Tax clearance certificate and VAT registration certificate.
4. All Bids must be accompanied by bid security 2% of the Total Bid Price in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantees.
5. Bids shall be submitted in the tender Box prepared for this purpose on /before the opening date.
6. Bid closing date and time shall be held on date of January 11 at 10:00 A.M.in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend, in the above mentioned address,
7. Failure to comply any of the conditions from (2) to (6) above shall result in automatic rejection.
