Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) is an international non-profit organization mandated to work with people around the world to eradicate poverty and injustice. Guided by its vision ‘Together for a Just World’, NCA provides humanitarian assistance and supports long-term development. NCA is affiliated with the World Council of Churches and is a member of the ACT Alliance with a presence in 24 countries worldwide. In Ethiopia, NCA has been operating since 1974. NCA’s programmes are implemented together with local faith-based partners. NCA is a member of various CSO networks, coordination mechanisms, and clusters in Ethiopia. In its new strategic period (2020-2024), NCA Ethiopia will focus on Climate Resilient Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Faith-Based Climate Action, Peacebuilding, Gender-Based Violence/Sexual/ Reproductive Health, and Humanitarian Emergency Response.
The Gender Based Violence and Sexual Reproductive Health Program of NCA, together with Faith-based Organizations (FBOs) like Ethiopian Orthodox Church, Development and Inter Church Aid Commission (EOC-DICAC), Ethiopian’s Muslim Relief and Development Association (EMRDA), Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus Development and Social Services Commission (EECMY-DASSC) , Inter Religious Council of Ethiopia (IRCE) and Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council Women and Children Desk (EIASC/WCD) has been implementing a Programme on Gender-Based Violence/Sexual Reproductive Health by mobilizing communities to change norms and practices that negatively affect the well-being of women and girls with the support of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
NCA is seeking to recruit a local consulting firm with special expertise on video documentation, documentation of best practices and success stories to document the lessons, best practices, and successes of three UNFPA-supported projects on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM); Child, Early, and Forced Marriage (CEFM) and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) projects in Gambella, Sidama, Adama, and Addis Ababa.
- Bidders must have renewed trade licence/ certificates for 2013 E.C. (2020/21 G.C.), VAT, TIN, Registration Certificate and other supporting letter/s concerning whether they have paid the taxes for government. Besides, a previous experience supported with certificates from client/s is/are mandatory.
- Bidders should submit their offers in wax-sealed envelopes to NCA’s Procurement & Logistics Office Located at Receptionist on or before October 30, 2021, until 4:00 PM and must be accompanied by a bid bond amounting to two (1%) of the offer in the form of CPO or bank guarantee
Interested and eligible consultancy firms may collect Terms of reference (TOR), including Scope of Work prepared for this purpose for free from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon or from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM during October 24-30, 2021, from NCA office, whose address is:
