CALL FOR EXTERNAL AUDITOR

SNV, Netherlands Development Organization, is operating in Ethiopia since the 1970s. Currently, SNV Ethiopia is working in eight regional states and the two city administrations of Ethiopia, providing technical assistance and program implementation in Agriculture, WASH, and Energy Sectors. SNV is an open and learning organization that focuses on improving the lives of Ethiopian through a market-based approach inclusive of women and youth. In its new Strategic Plan period (2019 – 2022), SNV will more explicitly aim for systems change including strengthening institutions and kick-starting markets that help many more to escape poverty beyond our projects. National Biogas Programme of Ethiopia (NBPE), hosted by the Ministry of Water, Irrigation & Energy (MoWIE) has been implemented since 2009 as part of the Africa Biogas Partnership Programme (ABPP). Its phase II funding for Ethiopia came to an end as of March 31, 2019. NBPE Phase I and II worked in four larger programme regions; namely Amhara, Oromia, SNNPR and Tigray.
The objective of the audit of the Project NBPE+ partners account is to enable the auditor to express a professional opinion(s) on the financial position of the project for the year 5/6 years ended April 12, 2021- July 11, 2022, G.C for about 15 months, and on funds received and expenditures incurred for the relevant accounting period. Partners consist of 8 regional states RBPCU and 1 UNIT- NBPCU at the National level under the supervision of Ministry of Water.
