SOS Sahel Ethiopia invites eligible bidders for supply of Maize Sheeler machine as specified hereunder.

BID ANNOUNCEMENT

SOS Sahel Ethiopia – Nature for Green Development (N4GD) Sustainable Natural Resource Management for Secured Livelihoods and Energy Security Project” funded by European Union invites eligible bidders for supply of Maize Sheeler machine as specified hereunder. The machine is to be provided to organized smallholder groups in the project operation districts benefiting from the project intervention and help them reduce production loss and their work load.

Specification of the Items:

Type:                          Maize Sheeler  

Quantity:                   10 (ten) units with full accessories

Application:               Used in decorating or shelling maize with or without husk 

Main Features:          Grain collection feature which minimizes spillage and steel wheels which make the machine highly portable

Power Drive:             5hp Diesel power engine (Robin brand or Honda Brand), Japan Origin & certificate of Origin shall be attached with bid document    

Overall Size:              Length = 1.75 meters;  Width = 0.9 meters;  Height = 1.60 meters

Weight & Strength: 200kg weight and the maize entrance plate be well welded with 2mm

thickness iron sheet

Output:                      At least 35 Quintals per hour 

1. Bidder shall submit their price offer in a sealed envelope until, 14, March 2023, at 2:00pm to Addis Ababa, SOS Sahel Ethiopia Head office. Copy of renewed license & registration certificates shall also be attached.
2. The bids will be opened on the above mentioned date on 14, March 2023 at 2:30 pm in the presence of bidders or their legal representative at SOS Sahel Ethiopia Head office, Addis Ababa.
