Advertisement for Consultancy Service for Training Delivery on Resource Diversification to CSSP2 ‘s Partner CSOs

CSSP2 is a capacity development programme funded by FCDO, Irish Aid, Embassy of Sweden, and Norway, managed by the British Council in consortium with PACT UK and SDD.  The programme aims to contribute to inclusive and accountable governance for better equitable and inclusive access to services, and an improving environment for the promotion and protection of the human rights of all Ethiopians. Granting, capacity development and engagement are the core strategies of the programme that mainstream key cross cutting strategies (approaches) including gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), safeguarding and monitoring, evaluation, and learning. Moreover, using regional hubs as a basic programme delivery unit, working on human rights-based approach, and promoting engagement and coalitions for collective impact, are also the key strategies and approaches used for successful, effective and efficient implementation of CSSP2.

The project currently supports 65 CSOs – a number expected to double once the different grant calls in progress are soon finalized. Among other interventions, provision of trainings in various organizational and thematic areas for CSSP2 is an approach adopted to build partner CSOs’ capacity. Accordingly, in the period between November 2022 and February 2023, the program aims to provide training for approximately100 – 120 CSOs on Resource Diversification.

As core elements of strong organizational capability of CSO partners, CSSP2 aims to provide capacity development support to enhance institutional and sustained diversification of funding source.  The Diversification of Fund training intends to contribute to building institutional capabilities which ensure financial sustainability, self-governance and autonomy of CSOs.

The training is expected be facilitated in 3 days and will be conducted in Addis Abeba starting from November 2022. An estimated total number of 120 training participants are be reached in four to five training rounds/groups. Costs associated with participants including logistics and accommodation will be managed and covered by CSSP2.

The purpose of the call is to invite interested and competent consulting firms/service providers with relevant qualification and experience on Diversification of Resource to CSO partners. The consultant/s should submit timely clear technical proposal as per the detailed terms of reference prepared along with the cost in ETB using the supplier response template attached to the application pack for this assignment.

You will be required to register for free with the below instructions;

  • Click on ‘Home’. This gives you the access to login as a registered vendor or register as a new vendor.
  • Click on ‘Register’. This allows you to enter your details under (i) Company details (ii) Business classification & (iii) Company category.
  • Click on ‘Register my company’. These allows you to complete the registration once the filling of these three details has been completed. Select the tab, which is at the bottom of the page. This can also be completed by individuals. Please note that only highlighted fields are mandatory

and after the successful completion of your registration you will now have access to view and download the ITT documents for your submission on the portal with these instructions;

  • Log in with your credentials (if you haven’t registered, kindly register)
  • Click on ‘Tenders’ and select ‘current’. This gives you access to the list of tenders currently running. You can filter by selecting a particular country or search using the reference numbers or title of the tender. This can be found on the left pane.
  • Click on ‘view details’, which is usually at the bottom of each tender posting.

From there select ‘express interest’, also located on the bottom page. This opens up a Tab at the top called ‘ITT’. Select that Tab and you have access to all the documents, which is at the bottom of the page.
