The World Resources Institute is a global research non-profit organization established in 1982 with funding from the MacArthur Foundation under the leadership of James Gustave Speth. WRI’s activities are focused on seven areas: food, forests, water, energy, cities, climate, and ocean.

WRI works across a global network to develop practical solutions that improve people’s lives and protect nature. We have more than 1,200 staff and offices in 12 countries: Brazil, China, Colombia, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, the Netherlands, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States. We work with partners in more than 50 countries.

The WRI regional office for Africa, located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was established in late 2016 and has staff members who are responsible for strategic oversight and cross-cutting expertise, financial management and risk mitigation, fundraising, outreach, and communications.

The WRI Ethiopia office in Addis Ababa has two roles. It serves as the regional hub for WRI Africa, and it actively engages with the government and other stakeholders to advance sustainable development within Ethiopia itself.

WRI would like to invite all potential insurance companies to bid for the provision of Group Yearly Renewable Term (GYRT) with Comprehensive Accident Indemnity (CAI) and Medical Insurance coverage as per the details given below for One year with possibility of extension.

The closing date for submission of the bid shall be on November 29, 2022, 01:00 PM (7 o’clock local time). Bidders are expected to drop their sealed proposal at our office located in the UNDP compound next to Deluxe furniture, Dembel branch, on the way to Bambis. Potential bidders should drop off their bid documents at the security office located by the main gate.
